The Jubilee Year of Hope
"Pilgrims of Hope" is the theme for this year's jubilee - a special year dedicated to renewal, forgiveness, and deepening our trust in God’s promise.
Throughout this Year of Hope, we are called upon to reflect on God’s faithfulness, to rediscover and share the light of hope in a world facing challenging times, and to become signs of joy and compassion in the world. We are encouraged to put Catholic Social Teaching into action through caring for our common home and supporting our sisters and brothers who are experiencing war, hunger and poverty. Parishes and schools around the world are taking part through prayer, service, and acts of kindness.
As a Catholic school, we join the global Church in celebrating this joyful year, encouraging our community to live with courage, generosity, and a hopeful heart rooted in faith.
Creating Our Jubilee Banner
We were visited by some of the nuns from Our Lady of Walsingham, who spoke to us about the jubilee and helped us to create our wonderful Pilgrims of Hope jubilee banner with all of our hopes, prayers and wishes for the coming year.
