Dear Parent
Only 16 sleeps to Santa! Hope you are well on your way to being ready. I’m not!

Brentwood Concert
The choir did a fantastic job at Brentwood last Friday I was extremely proud of them. They sang their hearts out and were a real credit to us all.

The choir performance is on Tuesday at 6.15 in the school; please have costumes in on Monday. There will be a collection at the end towards Brentwood Catholic Children’ s Society.

Nativity Concerts
I hope you all enjoyed our Nativity performances this year at Firstsite. I am sure you will agree that the children and staff were outstanding. Thank you for coming along and supporting us and for your generosity with the charity collection which raised over £500!

Panto
Thank you for supporting our annual trip to the Panto. The children had a fabulous time.
A report from Isabelle Mabon - Reception.
“On Wednesday we went to the panto. There were some Monkeys and they came up to the steps in the theatre and tried to lick the people and the lady said don’t lick them they’ve got diseases, it was very funny. There was a flower fairy and she came up with her wand and that helped make the Beast’s leg better.  The wicked lady was very rude to us and the people had to hide from her. The Beast didn’t turn into a Prince but Belle did marry him because she loved him anyway.   It was very good and we had an ice-cream”.

Christmas Lunches
Thank you to Jayne, Tina and our Midday Staff for all their hard work in making the Christmas Lunches special for the children. They seemed to go down well! A big thank you also to all our parent helpers for helping with the arrangements. We could not have done it without you.

PTA School Calendars
The calendars have been selling fast and there are only a few left in stock.  If you would still like to buy one see Ms Jones in the playground after school.

New Reception Intake 2012
If your child is due to start school next year you should have received details of the application process from the Local Authority, closing date 15 January. Please remember you also need to fill in a Supplementary Information Form (SIF) for us by 15 January so we know who to send Priest Reference Forms to.  The SIF is available from the school office.
