Dear Parent

KS1 Nativity Play

Once again there will be 3 performances of the Nativity Play but this year it will be in the auditorium at Firstsite:
Thursday 1 Dec at 6.30pm, Tuesday 6 Dec at 6.30pm and Thursday 8 Dec at 1.30pm. Admission will be by ticket only.  Each family has been allocated 2 tickets to each performance.  Your tickets show your seat numbers and you will need to ensure you bring them with you for admission, you will need one ticket per person (adult or child).  Please do not bring pre-school children to the evening performances for the benefit of our young performers, younger children are welcome to the afternoon performance but we do ask that you take them outside if they become restless to be fair to other parents.
There will be collections after each performance towards the Millennium Trust which helps to fund an education for children in our twin Diocese in South Africa.  The trust was set up in 2000 by the Catholic schools in our Deanery.  Money is invested and the interest earned is sent to support projects to help disadvantaged children.

Tickets for Nativity went out today. If your child does not have the 2 tickets per family please let us know by Monday. A list of all children absent has been made and their tickets held back.

Christmas Dinners

The menu and booking form for this year’s meal is attached.  Please book by Thursday 1 December to enable Jayne to make her order.  KS1 will have Christmas dinner on Tuesday 6 Dec, Year 3 & 4 on Thursday 8 Dec and Year 5 & 6 on Friday 9 Dec. KS1 will have to bring a packed lunch on the Thursday and Friday and Year 3 & 4  will have to do the same on Tuesday & Friday and Year 5 & 6 on Tuesday and Thursday as there will be no meal service for the other classes on Christmas Dinner days.   Almost all children join us for a Christmas Dinner and the atmosphere is always wonderful.  We have crackers, music playing and the children are served in their seats.  Whilst the success of these days will be largely due to the incredible contribution from Jayne and Tina in the kitchen, it will also be down to the generous support from parent-helpers; therefore I am once again asking for your help on one or more days.  Please let us know if you can help. It would be nice if every child could join their class for the meal, therefore I would really appreciate your support in making this possible. It is the community aspect of sharing the meal that makes it all the more special.

School Calendars
Calendars will shortly be in stock at £5 each. The PTA hopes to be selling them at the Nativity and in the playground after school.
