Children in Need Thank you for your support today with the non uniform day. We raised £176.80 which is brilliant. For those who forgot it’s not too late to bring your money in on Monday and then we might hit £200!
Mr Peck has enjoyed an unusually quiet day in Year 6 as many of the class were taking part in a sponsored silence. He took the opportunity to do lots of tests with them!
Watch out for Patrick Huggon singing with a choir at Charter Hall. He should be on BBC1 tonight around 8.30pm and on the Look East teatime broadcast on Saturday.
Year 1 and 3 It was the turn of Y1 & 3 to have a half day each with Mrs Lavelle on Wednesday. A report from Orla Gosling Campbell Yesterday Mrs Lavelle came in and made Bug Hotels. We had to get leaves in bags and get pallets and then we had to empty the bags of leaves and push them through the gaps in the pallets. Then we got some bricks and we put them on the bottom in between some logs and then we put the pallet on top. We kept doing that until it was really tall and now hopefully the bugs will live there.
Post Box The Christmas post box will be put up for 1 December. Children should take the cards into class and the teachers will give them time to visit the post box. Please make sure all cards have the classes on them.
Football Match Well done to our football team on a fantastic match on Wednesday evening against Myland Primary School I understand that with only 4 minutes to the final whistle we were 2 goals down but then we scored... twice! This led to a draw but as it was a cup match it had to go to penalties and we won! Nail-biting stuff! A big thank you to Mr Farah for refereeing again. A report from Dominic Donnellan and Danny Millward:
Myland scored first from a corner and then Jacob scored a brilliant goal for us with his right foot and then Myland scored 2 back which made it 3-1. We scored 2 in the last 5 minutes and as it was a cup game it went to penalties. Myland scored then Jacob’s got saved, then Myland scored and Martin scored for us
then Myland missed, Roman scored and Jamie saved two and we all jumped on him for winning the match. Congratulations to: Lewis Brown, Roman Carvell, Dominic Donnellan, Jacob Donnellan, Youhanna Farah, Thomas Jackson, Danny Millward, Jamie Morgan, Martin Porter & Freddy Richardson.
Calendars The PTA will be selling the school calendars in the playground after school next week. All the children have been photographed in the month they were born. All proceeds go to the school helping to pay for resources for your children.

Nits Please check through your child’s hair at the weekend as there have been a few cases in the school. It is good policy to check weekly as they can easily go unnoticed!
