Dear Parent Welcome back after the half term break. We have returned full steam ahead into our Christmas preparations. Mrs Hayes and I went to have another look at the auditorium at Firstsite on Tuesday to check out the facilities for the Nativity Play. It is lovely. You certainly won’t get uncomfortable on those seats. I am a little worried about the sound system though. He thought he was reassuring me when he said they would pick up everything!
Please remember next Friday is an INSET Day.
Mass for All Saints Tuesday was a Holy Day of Obligation so the whole school attended Mass in the Church. Thank you to Fr Tony for a lovely celebration.
Year 6 Mass Thank you for joining the children at the Church this morning.

Year 3 and 4 Pond Studies It was the turn of Y3 & 4 to have a half day each with Mrs Lavelle this week. A report from Annie Salthouse Yr 4 and John Magill Yr 3 to let you know what they got up to: ‘We went out to the wildlife area and we got some animals in a bucket so we could explore what is in the water. We used nets to fish them out and we looked to see how many different things we could identify, we found about 20 things. One group found 17 pond snails.’
Spanish Club Our thanks to Mrs Claydon who has very kindly organised a Spanish Club for Y3 on a Tuesday lunchtime. We are pleased that this is being taught by Mrs Hobbs a former parent and employee of the school. It is nice to have her back.
