If your child walks alone just remind him or her about what to do if approached. It’s our annual PTA BBQ tonight at the school and it promises to be a great family evening. I look forward to serving you at the bar! Changeover Day The children all got to spend some time in their new classrooms with their new teachers on Monday. Library Help Needed! Mrs Kury is leaving us next week after many years as a volunteer in the library. She has managed it single handily, keeping it well organised and user friendly. We will miss her very much and would like to thank her for all she has done. We now need another willing volunteer to take over??!! It would only mean coming in once or twice a week to supervise library book selection etc. Please let me know if you can help. A huge thanks to Mr Peck for organising a brilliant afternoon of cricket at the Essex ground on Wednesday for Y5 & 6. Thanks also to Mr Morgan and Mrs Dunne for umpiring. Worker of the Week This week’s award is for RE it goes to: Housepoints Colchester 98 Cocktail Party at the Minories
