Dear Parent
It’s that time of year again when there are not enough days in the week to fit everything in!  We welcomed our new intake for September this week, firstly for a story and then again on 2 separate mornings.  Mrs Hayes and Mrs Parker have high hopes for them as the visits went so well.

Year 5 German Morning

Thank you for dropping the children to St Benedict’s this morning it seemed such a waste of a coach for such a local trip your support is much appreciated.  The children had a fantastic time, my thanks to St Ben’s for hosting the event.

St Peter & St Paul Mass

The children attended Mass on Wednesday for this Holy Day of Obligation. Thank you for joining us.

Sports’ Day

Thank you all so much for attending on Friday it was a great success as always. The weather was extremely kind to us given the unpredictability of the rest of the week. The children were all stars and gave of their best in all events and in their encouragement for each other. What a shame we ran out of time for a second parents’ race in the afternoon…next year maybe!
The final results:

KS1

Red Team 58 points
White Team 34 points
Yellow Team 34 points

KS2

Lincoln 188 points
Bath 178 points
Colchester 144 points
York 127 points
A special thanks to Mrs Green for the delicious cream teas, Mr Gillespie for the setting up and Mr Peck for coordinating.

Thank You

A big thank you to Mr & Mrs Tudor for very kindly donating football shorts and socks for the school team, they are much appreciated.

Sweeping Girls

What a lovely couple of days at the school, and what a spectacular thunder and lightning storm to end the day on Tuesday. An enormous thank you to Mrs Lavelle and her team of helpers: Mrs Porter, Mrs Feakes, Mrs Pembroke, Mrs Edwards, Mrs Ward and Mrs Claydon for all their hard work on Tuesday and Wednesday -  The children have just one day left to get their gardens ready for the Colchester in Bloom judges.

Uniform Orders

Please send in any uniform orders that you would like to collect before the end of term by Friday 8 July.  Orders received after 8 July will not be processed until September.  Thank You.
