Dear Parent
We finish today for the Easter break. Hopefully the sun will be with us and we can get out in the fresh air without being wrapped up in coats and woollies for a change. I hope you all get a chance to relax and catch up with friends and family.

Reports
Your child has been sent home today with their annual report, Reception class will not have their report until July.

Choir Production
Well done to the school choir on a wonderful Easter production. They were truly amazing!
A big thanks to Mr Pike for sorting the sound system for us it made a big difference.

Easter Decorations
Thank you so much to Mrs Waters for the beautiful flower arrangements for the school hall. They looked stunning.

Writtle College
A huge thanks to Mrs Lavelle and her students from Writtle who replanted the front entrance to the school this week. Plants and labour were both very generously donated by the college. Writtle will be looking after the seeds planted by the gardening club over the Easter holidays. Thank you.

We had a day of reflection across the whole school today. The theme was Noah and God’s promise to us all.

Marathon Men
Simon Fenning (our Chair of Governors) & Sean Moriarty (Gareth & Owen’s dad) are running in this year’s London marathon. Simon writes
‘I am running in the London Marathon on the 17th to raise money for Bowel Cancer UK. It is the final chapter in a two part challenge, having completed the Dublin Marathon, with Sean, 6 months ago in a time of 3 hours 52 mins. Since Dublin Sean and I have managed to squeeze in 500 more training miles and I am hoping to better my time above if the congestion and temperature on the day allows. Your continued support would mean a great deal to me especially in those final closing miles and it will mean a great deal more to all those people who are affected directly or indirectly by Bowel Cancer.’

Sean is running his third London marathon in aid of the Samaritans. His charity page is
